How to use digital multimeter?
Measure direct voltage (or alternative current)
Put the red end into the socket “VΩ mA” and red end into “COM”

Move the circuit to the position of “V” and set the highest measure scale if you do not know the voltage exactly, if the value given is decimal then we will adjust later.
Put the measure scale into the circuit and read given value on the LCD screen of the meter.
If the wires are connected reversely (in direct current case) then the value given will be minus (-)
Measure direct current DC (AC)
Change the hands of the meter to mA scale if its current’s value is small and 20A if it is big.
Move the circuit to the position “A”
Press the button DC/AC to measure DC or AC
Put the wire next to the circuit
Read the value on the screen.
Put the position of the wire similar to voltage measure.
Move the circuit to the position of measuring ” Ω “, if the value is not known exactly then we choose the highest scale, if the value is decimal then we lower it down.
Put the wires into both ends of resistance.
Read the given value on the screen
We can also use this function to measure circuit circulation, for example, measure resistance by resistance scale, if the circuit is circulated then the meter will give the “beep” sound.
Move the circuit into the position of “FREQ” or “Hz”
Set the measure scale in the same way as measuring voltage.
